What the results mean
Every answer comes with its reasons. Here's what the colours, tiles and numbers mean.
The verdicts (ACE slabs)
For an ACE slab, the panel's answer is one of these. Click Why in the panel to see the reasons.
Everything that can be checked is in its favour: top subgrades and centering comfortably inside PSA's range for a 10. Worth crossing over.
Nearly everything in its favour, with one thing that could hold it back: a chance, with some risk.
Borderline on the centering or a subgrade. It could go either way, so take a closer look.
The centering or the subgrades fall short of what a PSA 10 needs. Probably not worth the attempt.
A grey box means it isn't measured yet, or there's nothing to judge. More on the verdicts page.
Centering allows
Each grading company publishes how off-centre a card can be for each grade. These tiles show the best grade each company's rules allow for this card's centering.
- A green 10 is their top grade.
- ↑ means it's close to the next grade up.
- – means below their listed grades.

The numbers
T/B 47.8/52.2 means the top border is 47.8% of the top and bottom together, and the bottom 52.2%. L/R is the same for left and right. 50/50 is perfect.
For example, a PSA 10 allows up to 55/45 on the front and 75/25 on the back.
Badges you may see
- Check lines: another set of lines fitted almost as well. Have a look at the picture.
- Uneven: worst end: a border is thicker at one end, so it's measured at the worst end, as graders do.
- Finder's corners: on a raw card, our card finder placed the corners. Check them with Adjust if you like.
It's a guide, not a promise: the grader judges the card in hand, front and back.
